WHY ROOTED RING?

When asked why this business is named Rooted Ring, many look at me confused. What an odd name?!

But the truth is, it holds tons of true meaning to it. The brand name comes from the irreplaceable relationship between my camera and I.

My first experience picturing livestock was in a show ring. Although I didn’t grow up in a show ring, I knew there was a love deep inside of me that felt most at home when capturing the love between a kid and their animal.

When I began picturing rodeo action, I quickly realized that my love for the camera thrived while capturing split seconds full of pure adrenaline followed by pure joy.

Truthfully, when that kid wins their division, when the bucking chute fly’s open, when World Records are Broken, and when that run or class that everyone is nervous for is Underway, everyone else’s heart surrounding the ring stops, while mine beats as if though I feel most at home. The brand Rooted Ring, is defined by true grit, and pure joy. Something that little me would be so proud of, and something that future me is excited to continue sharing.

It's truly all a Gift from the man upstairs.
