Monday is Here, but Sunday is Coming

And yet, when the hour came Jesus still kneeled down and washed his feet, the feet of the one who betrayed Him. It seems absolutely wild to me… Judas, betrayed him right in front of His face, and turned his face towards the enemy EVEN THOUGH miracles had been worked in front of His eyes and God had remined faithful to him time and time again, he still chose to betray Jesus.

The thing that floors me even more than the betrayal though, is the fact that Jesus still kneeled to wash Judas feet because there was so much love in Him that even though he felt hurt he knew that he would soon be nailed to the cross as a token of that sinners forgiveness. That love, right there is something that he paid the price for. But it is never ending, and it serves as a constant reminder that no matter how far we run He will ALWAYS be there for us and he will NEVER turn his face on us.

Here is your reminder friend’s, stop taking that love for granted and surrender it all to Him. Turn your face from the enemy, for he is not the one who died for your sins.

God is so loving and forgiving.

Monday is here, but Sunday is coming.

All the love and prayers, C
