Silly Me,
Makes a commitment to write every week and then goes over a month without posting a blog again.
JK, that’s reality. And when reality strikes there is literally nothing you can do about it. It’s just like the saying “Some days are harder than others” it’s a true statement through and through.
Oftentimes, when I’m not writing I fail to feel like the Lord is hearing me. Putting words to paper comes natural so I feel like it’s just the easiest way for me to get the message across to him.
But don’t you dare get me wrong, he’s understood the message all month long even though I haven’t been putting the words to paper. That’s one of the Most Man Like Characteristics I find in my God, is that he is patient and kind, loving, but most importantly… he is understanding. So, even though I haven’t been sticking the words to paper. I have caught my most favorite moments of him in still split seconds of time.
For instance, one night this past month I was out at my Colleges Practice Arena with my Camera in hand, just clocking hours after some weeks with more rough days than good (don’t be fooled, this month has really tested my faith while strengthening it) and I looked up to find the prettiest, hand painted sky. He sure had an appointment booked for me and a little dose of reality that night. And I am beyond grateful for it.
Here's your reminder folks that sometimes, the days are long but the years fly by. Just sit down, and write (even if its while your doing some overdue loads of laundry that you have most certainly been putting off). Do what makes you feel closest to the Lord.
Blessings to Y’all!
